Inspired by the scenery outside my bedroom window as a child during the winter, I watched snowflakes float to the ground, covering the trees and forest by my house in a layer of glistening snow. How I longed to go adventuring through the silent thickets, armed with my bunbun, a stick, and a backpack of food after I bundled myself up. This painting is a representation of one of the forests I would image travelling through, hiking up the snowy banks, and snow falling on my head every once in a while from trees above me.
